It also relieves the symptoms of acid reflux like burning with heartburn and the need to stand up. It will not work if you have heartburn or acid reflux, or if you have other symptoms such as fever, headache, nausea, lack of appetite, stomach pain and diarrhea. This medicine is used to treat reflux of acid and other stomach problems caused by taking antibiotics. It will not work if you have reflux of acid or acid reflux. You need to take it twice a day. If your stomach discomfort is more than 7 days a week, do not take it. Take it only when you feel the need to. Do not take it more often than directed. Do not give to children under 7 years of age. This medicine is also used to treat streptococcal pharyngitis, which is a bacterial infection caused by the streptococcal bacteria, and also upper respiratory infections. It may be used to treat sinusitis, cystitis, and pneumonia. Do not take amoxicillin/clavulanic acid together with penicillin or other antibiotics if you have a history of allergy reaction to penicillin or other antibiotics. You may take this medicine with or without meals. Drink a full glass of water with this medicine. You should continue to take this medicine even if you feel better after taking this medicine.

Take this medication by mouth with or without food as directed by your doctor, usually once daily. Amoxicillin/clavulanic acid is best taken on an empty stomach, at least 1 hour before a meal that contains a meal or other dairy products, heartburn medication, or other stomach disorders. Do not take this medicine with dairy products. This medication can be taken with or without food.
